What Venetian Plaster Is
Venetian plaster — stucco veneziano — is a decorative lime finish built up in thin coats and burnished to a smooth, luminous sheen. Because the colour is worked into the lime itself, the surface carries real depth: soft veils of tone that shift with the light, closer to stone than to paint. It is a mineral, breathable finish, applied entirely by hand, so no two walls are ever the same.

Our Process
Consultation & sample
We visit the space, agree the look, and make a hand-applied sample in your light before anything begins.
Substrate preparation
Walls are primed and made sound, flat and stable — the finish is only ever as good as what's beneath it.
Layered application
Fine coats of pigmented lime are troweled on by hand, building the colour and movement one layer at a time.
Burnish & seal
The surface is polished to its final sheen and, where needed, sealed against wear and moisture.
Installing in South Florida
Lime is at home in Miami's climate — it cures by drawing carbon dioxide from the air. Our team schedules application and curing around the local humidity so the finish sets evenly and lasts.
